Louise A. Mougakos, 85, of Niles died at 12:20AM Thursday January 9, 2014 at her childhood residence.

She was born August 28, 1928 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Felix and Margaret Gangone Magliaro.

Louise was a 1946 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed for 28 years at Ohio Lamp/General Electric retiring in 1986 and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles.

She enjoyed dancing, spending time with family, crocheting, and word search puzzles.

Louise, who always enjoyed having her nieces and nephews at the kitchen table, will be deeply missed by a daughter Kimberly Mougakos, with whom she made her home, a nephew Kenneth Flanigan of Niles, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Magliaro, and five sisters, Louisa Magliaro, Mary Magliaro, Teresa Flanigan, Clara Guarnieri, and Marjorie Fonce.

Memorial Mass will be held 10AM Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to The MVI Hospice nurses and staff.
