Lucy T. Myers,87, of 1104 Mason Street Niles, Ohio, died at 1:40AM Monday, March 1, 2010, at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

She was born January 6, 1923 in Niles the daughter of August and Philomena Fraino Madish.

Lucy was a 1941 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a long time clerk for SS Kresse and K-Mart.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles and a rosary maker for St. Mary's Church in Youngstown and for The Later Shrine of Our Lady Comforter of The Afflicted. Lucy has made over 75, 000 rosaries in her life.

Lucy also enjoyed yardwork and gardening.

She will be deeply missed by her son David W. Myers Jr. and his wife Peggy of Youngstown, a sister Joan Shrodek of Cortland, 2 grandchildren Jennifer Gibbons and her husband Jaret and D.J. Myers, a great-granddaughter Annabella Claire, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by three sisters, Connie, Ann, and Delores, and a brother Tony.

Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:00AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Stepehn Cemetery.
