Lula E. Eckley, 89, of Niles died at 11:30AM Monday May 23, 2016 at her residence.

She was born November 1, 1926 in Amarillo, Texas the daughter of William Floyd and Janie McElroy Keith

Lula was employed as Department Manager for Carlisle Department Store for 30 years and enjoyed taking gambling trips.

Her husband Norman "Jack" Eckley whom she married August 27, 1945 died February 12, 1994.

She will be deeply missed by her son Jack Eckley with whom she resided with, two daughters, Marie Proudfoot and her husband John of Florida, Lorraine Timko and her husband Don of Champion, three grandchildren, Brian Eckley, John N. Proudfoot and his wife Amy, and Samantha Timko, and two great-grandchildren, Stryder and Wyatt.

She was preceded in death by a daughter,  Marlene Smith, a granddaughter, Lindsay Renee Timko, and a brother Jack Keith.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 11:00AM Funeral service Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Don Monaco officiating.

Burial will be in Greenhaven Cemetery.
