Maria Frasca, 91, of Niles died at 9:15PM Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

She was born May 27, 1919 in Bagnoli Irpino, Italy the daughter of Joseph and Marianna Branca Pallante.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, and gardening.

Her husband Michael Frasca whom she married December 20, 1936 died November 19, 1974.

Maria, who was a loving mother, grandmother, and family oriented will be deeply missed by two sons, Angelo Frasca and his wife Arlene of Niles, Anthony Frasca of Howland, a daughter Marietta Marino and her husband James of Niles, two sisters, Concetta Pallante of Bagnoli Irpino, Italy and Antonetta Gargano of Buffalo, New York, nine grandchildren, Angela Autobelli and her husband Joe, Dr Michael Frasca, Rosena Shiels and her husband Brian, Gennaro Russo and his wife Christine, Maria and her husband Rob, Michele Mastrino and her husband Chris, Marisa Frasca, Annette Marino and James Marino, seven great-grandchildren, Allie, Elise, Dylan, Robby, Lorenzo, Nicholas, and Giovannina, and a son-in-law Lorenzo Russo.

She is preceded in death by a daughter Giovanna Russo, two brothers, Ralph Pallante and Carmen Pallante, and a sister Raffaela Gargano.

Friends may call from 10AM to 12:30PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1PM Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, with Fr. Larry Frient officiating, preceded by a 12:30PM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
