Maria Wilehada "Willy" Hepworth, 79, of Niles passed away at 2:30PM Monday December 21, 2020 at Mercy Health in Warren, OH. She was born December 6, 1941 in Davao City, Davao Phillipines, the daughter of Mansueto and Teodorica Hangad Demicais. Willy graduated in the Philippines before coming to the United States and becoming a citizen in 1981. She was a caregiver by occupation and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles Her husband and Love of her Life Robert J. Hepworth whom she married June 3, 1978 in Cebu, Philippines died August 16 , 2003. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Janet Lee Sotak and her husband Joseph of Niles. Three grandchildren, Scott Sotak (Darla),Tricia St. Clair (Brian), and Aaron Sotak(Cara Johnson), nine great grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her dearest friend Victoria Datchuk. She was preceded in death by a great-great-grandson Oliver Saunders. Memorial services are noon Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where social distancing and facial coverings are recommended. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
