Maria C. "Jenny" Croft, 89, of Niles died Thursday May 3, 2012 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born May 1, 1923 in Niles the daughter of Dominic and Lucy DePascale Ciminiero.

Jenny was a 1941 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She retired in 1981 as a braider at Packard Electric in Warren after 37 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles and its Immaculate Conception Society. She enjoyed baking, and an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Her husband Clyde "Ted" Croft Jr whom she married July 13, 1946 died April 14, 1997.

She will be deeply missed by a son Robert Croft and his wife Marilyn of Ridgeland, Mississippi, a daughter Cheryl Croft with whom she made her home, three grandchildren, Kevin Croft, Brent Croft and his wife Jenn, and Robert Croft Jr, three great-grandchildren, Caroline Croft, Ava Croft, and Brentley Croft, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony Ciminero, Joseph Ciminero, and Sam Ciminero, and a sister Mamie Frasca. Friends may call from 3 to 5PM Sunday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Immaculate Conception Society will conduct prayers at 2:45PM and The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry at 4:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, with Fr. Nicholas Shori officiating, preceded by a 9AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
