Marie A. Melillo, 90, of Niles died Saturday March 23, 2013 at her daughter's residence.

She was born February 15, 1923 in Niles the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Coates Soda Sr.

Marie was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, The Catholic Women's Club, a homemaker, and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Her husband Frank Melillo whom she married September 13, 1941 died April 4, 2010.

She will be deeply missed by a son Philip Melillo of Niles, a daughter Donna Natoli and her husband Richard of Niles, Roseanne Donofrio of Boardman, a brother Joseph "Jr." Soda of Niles, a sister, Della Williams of Niles, six grandchildren, Phillip Melillo, Frank Melillo and his wife Erin, Joseph Natoli and his wife Eli, Jennifer Natoli, and Gianni and Carli Donofrio and three great-grandchildren, Olivia and Angelina Callihan, and Juliana Natoli.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Jess Soda, James Soda, and John Soda, five sisters, Catherine Marino, Celia Shilling, Rosemarie DeFabio, Margaret Matthews ,and Lena Nemes and a daughter-in-law Marliyn Melillo.

Friends may call Monday from 9AM to 10AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services will be held 10AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
