Marlene F. Scott, 77, of Niles died Saturday March 12, 2016 at her residence.

She was born January 13, 1939 in Niles the daughter of Samuel and Margaret Curtorillo Danes.

She was a 1956 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed as a professional secretary for Ray Travaglini, The Mount Carmel Church Rectory, Titi and Sliwinski Contruction Company, and National Gypsum in Niles.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Jimmy Scott whom she married February 27, 1965, a son Michael Scott and his wife Jennifer of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a sister Charlotte Gatta and her husband Dominic of Niles, and two grandchildren, Jacquelyn Scott and Wyatt Scott.

She is preceded in death by her father Samuel Danes and her mother Margaret Danes Flask.

Private Family services will be held.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
