Mary A. Ferro, 96, of Niles died Thursday May 8, 2014 at Shepherd of The Valley in Niles.

She was born November 21, 1917 in Apollo, Pennsylvania the daughter of Cleason and Cora Belle Aultman Hilty.

Mary was a 1935 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a girl scout leader, and enjoyed bingo, bowling, crafts, casino trips, and fishing.

Her husband Dominic N. Ferro Sr. whom she married April 28, 1936 died March 21, 1995.

She will be deeply missed by a son Dominic Ferro Jr. and his wife Shirley of Saucier, Mississippi, a daughter Patricia Pollock and her husband Ronald of Niles, two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Jacob, a brother Kenneth Hilty, and three sisters, Flora Britton, Joy Pelton, and Cora Samu.

Friends may call from 10 to 11AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Nick Furrie officiating.

Burial will be in Greenhaven Cemetery.
