Mary Jane Guliano, 88, passed away on Monday – June 6, 2016 at 1:16 pm.
She was born on January 30, 1928, the daughter of Alessandro and Mary Scotti Lateana in Niles, Ohio.
She graduated from Niles McKinley High School, Class of 1945.  On May 10, 1947, she married Neil N. Guliano, her husband of 68 years. She was employed at Griswold's in Warren, Ohio.  She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, a member of its Immaculate Conception Society and Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a member of the Mothers' Club of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and the Niles McKinley High School Marching Band Boosters.  She was also a member of St. Rose Church in Girard, where she was a part of the faith community for the past three years.
She is survived by her son Patrick Guliano, daughter Mary (Clayton) Cosimi, daughter Dr. Alexandra Guliano, son Neil (Jody) Guliano, son Rev. John (Lisa) Guliano, and son James (Attorney Robert Walker), with whom she made her home.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gregory (Deanna) Cosimi, Daniel Cosimi, Michael Guliano, Megan Guliano, Neil Guliano, James W. Guliano, Robert Guliano, and Marietta Guliano, sister-in-law Lucy Sherock, nephew Dr. Francis (Joan) Alexander and niece Cathy (Paul) Nuzzi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Guliano who passed away February 5, 2015, her parents, an infant son, infant grandson, Patrick Jr., sister Lillian Alexander and brothers-in-law Saker Alexander and John Sherock.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and a prayer service will be conducted at 7:00pm.  Friends may also call from 9 am to 10 am on Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.
Burial will be at Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
