Born on May 18, 1946, in Youngstown, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late John R. Luther and Leona B. (Costlow) Luther. She found her greatest joy in her family and was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, William H. Her legacy lives on through her children: Michael Foley (Kelly) of Niles; Patricia Huffman of Warren; and Melissa Wimer (Nik) of Niles.

She was the cherished grandmother of Shawn Huffman (Erin), Nathan Wimer, Calyn Wimer (Pariss), and Stephanie Watt. Her spirit also shines bright in her great-grandchildren: Noah, Joshua, Liam, Wyatt, Mason, Bella, and Kristian.
