Mary K. Perell, 89, of Niles died at 7:35AM Saturday April 5, 2014 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.
She was born December 8, 1924 in Elkins, West Virginia the daughter of Fred and Lauretta Spina Pezzulli.
Mary was a 1942 graduate of Elkins Local Schools and was employed as a beautician and hair stylist for 30 years. She had owned and operated House of Perell Beauty Salon in Sharon.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Parish in Niles, enjoyed vacationing in Florida, cooking, and a fashion stylist.
Her husband Dominic J. Perell whom she married December 27, 1948 died September 14, 2008.
She will be deeply missed by a son Charles Perell and his wife Madeline of Niles, a daughter Gloria Baker of Youngstown, a brother Fred Pezzulli Jr and his wife Sandra of New York, New York, two sisters, Virginia Pezzulli of Wilmette, Illinois and Amelia Katsbulus of Kansas City, Kansas, and their families, three grandchildren Scott Perell and his fiancée Erica, Michael Perell, and Bryan Baker and his wife Martina, and three great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Austin, and Simon. She is also survived by three step-children, Sam and Christine Roth and Barbara Krempasky, six step-grandchildren, and one step-great grandchild, all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Pezzulli and Tony Pezzulli.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being held by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
