Mary Virginia Accordino Poli, 72, of Niles, died at 1:30AM Sunday May 4, 2014 at Liberty Health Care Center.

She was born October 3, 1941 in Niles the daughter of Filippo and Giovannina Colamarino Accordino.

She was a 1959 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles.

Her husband Robert J. Smith whom she married November 23, 1991 died June 30 2009.

Mary, who was deeply religious, will be deeply missed by a son Gabriel Poli and his wife Melissa of McDonald, two brothers, Sam Accordino of Niles and Anthony Flarey of Liberty, two sisters, Betty Ann LeMasters and her husband Dave of Howland and Dora Perone and her husband Joe of Girard, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Accordino and Dominick P. Flarey, and three sisters, Laura Infante, Carmella Ettaro, and Marion Tricomi.

Memorial Mass will be held 10AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles with Fr. John-Michael Lavelle officiating
