Maxie Lee Thompson, Jr., 70, of Ellsworth, Ohio, died Monday September 26, 2016 at his residence.

He was born September 22, 1946 in Warren the son of Maxie and Lucille Schrader Thompson Sr.

Maxie was a United States Army veteran of The Vietnam War, and a graduate of Auto Body School. His artistic talent carried over into his attention to detail in the auto body work he completed on cars and motorcycles.  He was even recognized for his custom work in motorcycle magazine.

He will be deeply missed by a sister Nancy DeFabio of Niles, a niece Denise Bliss of Cortland, and great-niece and great-nephew Damaris Bliss and Dane Bliss of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and a brother-in-law Dominick DeFabio.

Private Family services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in North Jackson Cemetery.
