Michael H. Bobovnyk Sr 83 passed away quietly at his Daughters home into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday August 7, 2012

He was born October 4, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of John and Elizabeth Ferguson Bobovnyk.

He was a 1946 graduate of Youngstown East High School and was employed as a brakemen for the B & O Railroad retiring in 1989. He enjoyed roller skating, boating, music, playing the harmonica and the accordian. He also served his country in United States Army and Air Force

His wife Alma Gillner Bobovnyk died June 4, 2003.

He will be deeply missed by two sons, Michael H. Bobovnyk Jr. and his wife Linda of Florida and James E. Bobovnyk of Niles, and his daughter whom he resided with Diana Mollica and her husband Sam .a brother Fred Bobovnyk of Mineral Ridge, a sister Kate McFarland of Youngstown, and a grandson Samuel N. Mollica.

He was preceded in death by four infant grandchildren, Adam Mollica, Tabitha Bobovnyk, Michael H Bobovnyk 111 and Sarah Bobovnyk, three brothers, John James and Joseph and three sisters Donna, Mary and Martha

Private funeral services were held.

Burial was in Niles City Cemetery.
