Mildred "Millie" Marie Incarnato, 92, of Girard died at 6:57PM Monday June 11, 2012 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 28, 1920 in Lowellville, Ohio the daughter of Nina Moss Mechling Rosenberger.
Mildred was employed at Packard Electric during World War II. After the birth of her daughter, Mildred became a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, enjoyed cooking, baking, especially pizzeles, trips to the beach, ice cream, roller skating, and dancing. She also enjoyed watching her favorite sports teams; The Cleveland Indians and Penn State Football. Most of all Mildred loved spending time with her family and doing for others as she always wanted to see those that she loved happy and content.
Her husband Joseph James Incarnato whom she married August 31, 1946 preceded her in death February 5, 1994.
She will be deeply missed by a daughter Linda Cassidy and her husband Patrick of Niles, Ohio, a brother Raymond Rosenberger of Warren, Ohio, two granddaughters, Kelley Cassidy and her fiancAC.e Vince Franco of Warren and Heather Todd and her husband Christian of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and a great-grandchild Jackson Todd. Also left to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a brother Curtis Rosenberger and two sisters, Pauline Hunter and Beulah Johnston. Mildred's family would like to thank all of the nurses, aides, and volunteers at M.V.I. Homecare and Hospice for their compassionate care of Mildred during the last few years of her life. Mildred's family would also like to thank Joann Baugh, Wendy Hornyak, and Ardis Fleck for caring for Millie and keeping her company.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 7:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles preceded by a 9AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
