Nancy J. Flaviano, 86, of Port Clinton, Ohio, formerly of Niles, passed from this life into eternal life on Sunday August 14, 2022, at Ohio Living "The Vineyards", Catawba, Ohio surrounded by her family. She was born January 25, 1936, in Warren the daughter of Lawrence and Frances Sherock Vivolo. Nancy was a 1953 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, was employed as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown for three years, Dr. Pentz office in Niles for eight years, and St. Joseph's Hospital in Warren in the recovery room for twenty years retiring in 1998. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed playing cards, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. Her husband Rocco Flaviano whom she married February 23, 1957, died April 13, 2015. She will be forever missed by three sons, Richard Flaviano and his wife Andrea of Pittsburgh, Randall Flaviano and his wife Kim of Niles, and Robert Flaviano and his girlfriend Lee Kennedy of Port Clinton, Ohio, five grandchildren, Rocky Flaviano, Kristin Hall, Jason Flaviano, Sarah Flaviano, Kyle Flaviano, and five great-grandchildren, Christian Dietz,Riley Ladd, Donny Ladd, Kendra Flaviano, and Jordyn Ankenbruck, and her nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Frances Sherock, her father Lawrence Vivolo, a son Rocky Flaviano, a brother Larry Vivolo, and a sister Barbara Viole.Friends may call Thursday from 10AM to noon at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
