Nellie Marchionte, 88. of Warren, died at 3:10PM Wednesday October 17, 2012 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Warren.

She was born March 27, 1924 in Warren the daughter of Gabriel and Mary DiCantio Laprocina.

Nellie was employed for 20 years as a waitress at CafAC. 422 and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles.

Her husband Louis Marchionte whom she married November 2, 1953 died October 20, 1986.

She will be deeply missed by two sons, Michael Marchionte of Providence, Rhode Island and Gabriel Marchionte of McDonald, Ohio, a brother Nick Laprocina of Warren, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Reverend John-Michael Lavelle officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the mass.
