Neva R. Mellesky, 92, of Niles died at 12:50AM Friday, May 28, 2010, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.

She was born February 27, 1918 in Jenners, Pennsylvania the daughter of Elmer and Cora Reid Pugh.

Neva was employed for 23 years at Trumbull Lamp before retiring in 1983, and was of The Lutheran Faith.

She enjoyed swimming, and was an avid archer as she had won several trophies. She was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

Her husband John(Tom) Mellesky whom she married April 27, 1935 died May 21, 1992.

She will be deeply missed by two daughters, Esther Litton of Niles and Mary Ellen Petrilli of Niles, four grandchildren, Jeffery Petrilli and his wife Tina, Joseph Petrilli, Jill Luknis and her husband Matt, and Jimmy Petrilli, and two great-grandchildren, Jeffery and Mathew.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Lester Pugh, and a sister Ethel Bell.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
