Nicolo " Nick" Accordino, 90, of Niles, died at 12:55PM Thursday June 29, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

He was one of nine children born June 12, 1927 in Gioiosa Marea, Sicily to Salvatore and Grazia Natoli Accordino and came to America in 1956. His wife and son Salvatore joined him in Niles in 1958.

Nick owned and operated Accordino's Barber Shop in Warren where he worked for 60 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Niles Knights of Columbus Council #1681, enjoyed making wine, gardening, traveling, working with the public, and over the last 30 years he and his wife Carmela split time between Sicily and Ohio.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Carmela Fonte Accordino whom he married February 21, 1952 and were married 65 years, three sons Salvatore Accordino and his wife Angela of Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania, Frank Accordino and his wife Darlene of Worcester, Massachusetts, and Nick Accordino Jr. and his wife Monica of McDonald, two brothers, Carmen Accordino and his wife Kay of Austintown, and Angelo Accordino and his wife Maria of Italy, eight grandchildren, Nicolo Accordino and his wife Megan, Teressa Accordino, Nicola Accordino, Sofia Accordino, Grazia Accordino, and Alyssa Accordino, Camden Fredrick, and Nathan Fredrick.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Antonio Accordino and Joseph Accordino, and four sisters, Maria Olivo, Josephine DeLuca, Nina Puglia, and Rosa Bendetto.

Friends may call Friday from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00PM Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 12:30PM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
