Rose "Nikki" Sussman, 88, of Niles, died 8:40 p.m. Sunday December 4th at her residence.

Nikki was born October 28, 1928 in Niles the daughter of Carmen and Rachel Donnarummo Vivolo.

She was employed at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles, Niles Board of Education, and was owner-operator of Record Rendezvous in Niles and Youngstown.

Nikki was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles , was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Her former husband Lawrence "Bo" Sussman, whom she married January 20, 1950 died May 19, 1989.

She will be deeply missed by her son Stuart Sussman and his wife Eileen of Niles, her daughter Edrea Mientkiewicz of Niles, her sister Jenny Rickard of Ontario, California, six grandchildren Steven (Tessa) , Lauren, Stuart and  Nicholas Mientkiewicz, Larry and Rachel Sussman, and two great-grandchildren Dominic and Lyla.

Nikki is preceded in death by three brothers, Tony and Sam Villio, Carmen Vivolo,  and four sisters Theresa Costello, Louise Andersack, Mary Villio and Josephine Guarino.

Friends may call Friday, December 9th from 9 a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. prayer service at the Joseph Rossi & Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles.

Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
