Patricia A. Forward, 88, of Niles passed away on Friday December 15, 2023 at her daughter's residence. She was born November 11, 1935 in Warren the daughter of George and Cecelia Cassidy Grishkat. Patricia was a 1953 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelors Degree in social work where she was also a member of Sigma Chi Sorority. She was employed at Glen View Manor Nursing Home in Mineral Ridge until her retirement and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles. She will be deeply missed by her husband Theodore Forward whom she married July 28, 1956, two sons Brad Forward and his wife Sherry and Kyle Forward both of Niles, a daughter Tracy Mientkiewicz and her husband Pete, with whom she made her home, eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Ledbetter and her husband Troy, Michael Mientkiewicz, Rachel Mientkiewicz, Brian Forward, Joshua Forward, Kyle Forward Jr. and his wife Shelby, Hannah Forward, and Jacob Forward, and five great-grandchildren, Peter and Harrison Ledbetter, Rhys and Harvey Forward, and Josephine Forward. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30AM up until the time of the 11AM memorial mass at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
