Patricia Ann Rindfuss, 79, of Niles, lovingly known as “Patty” by her friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2026 while visiting her daughter Sherry in Michigan.

She was born on September 15, 1946, to William and Dorothy Morgan.

Patty was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School, class of 1964 and a faithful member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish- St. Stephen Church. Throughout her life, she was hardworking and dedicated, having worked at Packard Electric, Tupperware, Dana Office Supplies, Leonard’s Glass, McMenamy’s Bingo, and cleaning homes. She also proudly served her community by working at the voting polls, a role she took great pride in.

Patty was fun-loving, spirited, and competitive. She couldn’t go anywhere without lending a helping hand. Patty enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family and found joy in shopping, gardening, dancing, singing, playing cards, and playing board games. Her warm personality , sense of humor, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Morgan, and her sister,Nancy Pipenur and ex-husband Allen Rindfuss.

Patty is survived by her loving daughter, Sherry (Bryan) Riedel; her cherished grandchildren, Hannah and AJ Riedel; her brother, William (Cindy) Morgan; her sisters, Mary Morgan and (Tim Gleydura), Kathy (Anthony) Gentile, and Jeanne (James) Lee; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Patty will be remembered for the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the many memories she created with those blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
