Patrick Mientkiewicz, 56, of Niles passed away at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House on Sunday October 13 2013 surrounded by his family.

He was born March 25, 1957 in Erie, Pennsylvania the son of Chester and Betty Drown Mientkiewicz.

He was a 1975 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed for 15 years for The Ohio Department of Transportation, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed reading, spending time with his family and his beloved dog Jagger.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Chester and Betty Mientkiewicz, Edrea and their four children, Steven and his wife Tessa, Stuart, Nicholas, and Lauren, five brothers, Pete Mientkiewicz and his wife Tracy, Steve Mientkiewicz and his wife Joy, Greg Mientkiewicz, Tim Mientkiewicz, David Mientkiewicz and his wife Kathy, three sisters, Julie Follmeyer and her husband Bob, Karen Macali and her husband Ralph, and Rose Mientkiewicz.

A memorial mass will be held 10:00AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating.

Arrangements are being held by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
