Paul John "PJ" Rashid Jr. 65 of Girard died peacefully on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls.

He was born November 25, 1949 in Warren the son of Paul and Nancy Elinsky Rashid Sr.

Paul attended Fairhaven School and Workshop and was a lifelong member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.

He will be deeply missed by his mother Nancy, with whom he made his home, a brother Michael Rashid and his wife Traci of Midland, Michigan, two sisters, Nancy Jane Rashid and Paula Baker both of Greensboro, North Carolina, a nephew Greg Baker, three nieces, Jennifer Waller and her husband Bennett, Kaycee Weir and her husband Matt, and Sara Rashid, and his favorite aunt, Ann Barclay.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Rashid Sr. and a nephew TK Rashid.

There are no calling hours and a private memorial will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of both Laurie Ann Nursing Home and Hospice of The
Valley for their exceptional care and concern shown to PJ during his illness.
