Pauline Mary Bell, 97, of Niles died Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles, with her devoted sister by her side.

She was born February 17, 1916 in Niles the daughter of John and Salvatrice Bruno Bello.

Pauline attended Niles City Schools and was employed for 30 years at Trumbull Memorial Hospital's Central Supply Department, preparing and sterilizing surgical equipment, retiring in 1976.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Parish in Niles, enjoyed cooking, puzzles, Italian traditions, and family gatherings Sunday mornings after church.

Pauline, who was very family oriented, will be deeply missed by her sister Carmel "Millie" Lepore with whom she shared her home, sister-in-laws Connie Bell, Angeline Bell, Opal Bell, Marsha Bell, and Lena Bell. She leaves nieces and nephews Felicia, Michael, Carolyn, Marilyn, Robert, Donald, Thomas, Judy, Stephen, Terry, Jeanine, and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Anthony Bello, Carmen Bell, Phillip Bell, Sam Bell, Fred Bell, and Russell Bell, and a sister Rose Bello.

Friends may call from 8:30AM to 9:30AM Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the nurses' aids, nursing and rehab staff and personnel at Autumn Hills Care Center as well as Dr. Michael Ciletti for all their care and compassion.
