Pauline DePascale, 89, of Columbus, formerly of Niles died at 11:10PM Sunday May 20 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born December 25 1922 in Ashtabula the daughter of Peter and Florence Candela Candela.

She was employed for 10 years at Kent State University and for 20 years for The State of Ohio in The Personnel Department in Columbus retiring in 1988.

She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Columbus, Republican Women's Club, Pilot Dogs of Ohio, and enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting and all sports.

Her husband Nicholas Angelo DePascale Sr. whom she married June 6, 1940 died July 27, 1975.

She will be deeply missed by three sons, Attorney Vincent Nicholas DePascale of Upper Arlington, Ohio, Nicholas Angelo Jr. at home, and Attorney Paul Anthony DePascale and his wife Dr. Julie Guthrie of Upper Arlington, Ohio, six grandchildren, Gina Millar and her husband Scott, Gretchen Adams and her husband Steve, Carole Bernhardt and her husband Matt, Vincent DePascale, Joseph DePascale, and Jack DePascale, and five great-grandchildren, David Landis, Dominic Adams, Lucia Adams, Xavier Bernhardt, and Zachary DePascale.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Candela and Steve Candela, and a sister Angeline Wright.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home .in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles with Fr. Nicholas Shori officiating, preceded by a 9AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown
