Obituary

Margaret "Peggy" Regis Trina, 78, of Niles died at 9:55AM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at her residence.

She was born June 26, 1932 in Farrell, Pennsylvania the daughter of Peter and Helen Pascak Regis.

Peg was a 1951 graduate of Farrell High School and was employed at Sharon Westinghouse in The Office Personell Department for 32 years before retiring in 1984.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, Eucharistic Minister, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society, Church festival and pizza sales volunteer, and choir member.

She enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, rollerskating, iceskating, and was an amateur photographer.

Peg, who always said "Honey I'am home" when she got home from work or came in to visit her sisters, will be deeply missed by her husband Nick Trina whom she married July 17 1976, a son Nick Trina Jr. and his wife Karen of Ogden, Utah, two daughters, Bonnie Trina of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Heather Ardston of Roswell, Georgia, a sister Ann Novak of Sharon, Pennsylvania, two grandchildren, Jessica Trina, and Jaclyn Whetton and her husband Jeremy, and a great-grandson Jeremy Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Nick Regis, Pete Regis, Mike Regis, and John Regis, and two sisters, Helen Matsko, and Mary Davis.

Peg was a very compassionate and loving person and she could hold a conversation with anyone.

Friends may call from 4 to 7PM Sunday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Fruneral Home where The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry and Mt. Carmel Society will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, with Fr. Larry Frient officiating, preceded by a 9AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
