Obituary

Quirino S. DiPaolo Sr., 93, of Girard, passed away peacefully in the morning of Saturday August 3, 2024 at Continuing Heath Care at The Ridge. He was born September 5, 1930 in Barrea, Italy in the  Province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo Region to the son of Eugenio and Maria Campana DiPaolo. He was a graduate of Youngstown College, and employed at Packard Electric, a Division of General Motors, where he furthered his education in the Skilled Trades Program as a Tool and Die Maker retiring in 1993. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed spending his time reading books, gardening, playing bocce, cars, and wine making. He was also Musically Talented and played the Alto Saxophone and Clarinet. Quirino was preceded in death by his wife Anna C. Musilli DiPaolo whom he married on August 21, 1958. He will always be remembered and sadly missed by his three sons, Eugene A. DiPaolo, Quirino S. DiPaolo Jr., and Sergio U. DiPaolo, two sisters, Elena DiPaolo of Ascoli Piceno, Italy and Adrianna DiPaolo of Rome, Italy, and three grandchildren, Anthony, Giancarlo, and Dante. Private services were held. Burial was in Pineview Cemetery Warren, Ohio. The Family would like to extend their sincere appreciation of the entire staffs of Continuing Health Care and Buckeye Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Quirino and his family through this difficult time. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
