Rell G. Petusky, 83, of Niles, passed away on Thursday September 4, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Joseph's Warren Hospital. He was born July 20, 1942 in Schulykill, Pennsylvania the son of Joseph and Edith Schrope Petusky. Rell was a 1960 graduate of Mahonay City High School. Rell was employed as a welder and also for the City of Niles in the wastewater, tree, and police department.He was a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish-St. Stephen Church, enjoyed computers, yard work, and was a United States Naval Veteran. He will be deeply missed by his wife Judith Madden Petusky whom he married July 10, 1967, two sons Greg Petusky of Akron and Eric Petusky of Philadelphia, a brother Kerry Petusky of North Carolina, and a sister Chloe Coger of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Miles Petusky, Ronald Pierce, and Neil Petusky, and a sister Lynn Bowers. Per Rell's request cremation has taken place. There are no services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
