Robert "Bob" W. Molody, 78, of Lordstown, passed away on Sunday August 11, 2024. He was born June 15, 1946 in Warren the son of Uochem and Doris Weimer Molody. Bob was a 1964 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and was employed as a truck driver for 25 years at Cassens Motor Transport. After his retirement he worked at Penske. He enjoyed off-road racing, spending time with his grandchildren, an NHRA fan, and was a United States Naval veteran of The Vietnam War having been stationed in The Mediterranean Sea. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeannie LeCursi Molody whom he married August 16, 1969, two sons, Robert S. Molody and his wife Tammy of Akron, and Jeffrey J. Molody of Youngstown, five grandchildren, Morgan Powers and her husband Gage, Jamison Molody, Jackson Molody, Elyssa Molody, and Ryan Boley, sister in laws, Kathy (Edward) Budd, and Anne (Michael) Komiensky, brother in law Nick (Jodi) LeCursi, brother in law Pat (Patty) Revezzo, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws,Carmella "Dolly" LeCursi, Martin J. and Beatrice LeCursi, niece Kimberly Elliot and brother in law John Revezzo. Private funeral services were held. The family requests that material tributes be made to a charity or organization of one's own choosing. Arrangements were handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
