Robert A. Raschilla, 78, of Niles died Saturday August 8, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

He was born May 13, 1937 in Niles the son of Dominick and Mary Ann Caldrone Raschilla.

He was a 1955 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, attended Ohio University and Youngstown College, owned and operated Gracewoods Village Senior Living in Niles with his wife Linda for 18 years. He also owned Consolidated Advertising

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles and a church usher, Niles Knights of Columbus Council #1681, The Airline Owners Pilots Association, and held his pilots license.He was taught how to fly by the legendary Ernie Hall. He enjoyed flying, snow skiing, traveling, playing the piano, vacationing in Florida, and a United States Air Force Reserve Veteran for 6 years.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Linda McDougall Raschilla whom he married July 5, 1980, a sister Diane Colundjia and her husband Michael of Atlanta Georgia, his mother-in-law Evelyn McDougall, his brother-in-laws William McDougall and his wife Chrysti, and Jack McDougall, and eleven nieces and one nephew..

He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry and Niles Knights of Columbus will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral Home.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery where Bob will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
