Robert T. "Ace" Sause Sr, 71, of Niles died peacefully at 9:25AM Tuesday January 20, 2015 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren with his family by his side.

He was born April 2, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of Thomas and Janet Lane Sause.

He was a 1962 graduate of Youngstown East High School and was superintendent and Chief Estimator for Marucci and Gaffney Construction Company in Youngstown for 12 years.

He was of The Catholic faith, member of Carpenters Union Local 171, enjoyed antique cars, water skiing, and an avid football fan.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Michele Phelps Sause whom he married December 8, 1972, a son Robert T. Sause Jr. of Orwell, Ohio, two daughters, Debra Huff of Lake Milton and Christine Keeling of Austintown, a sister Janet Malone and her husband Joseph of Youngstown, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Sause.

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Father James Walker officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
