Ronald E. Gambetti, 67, of Niles, died Thursday March 8th at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

Ronald was born May 12, 1944 in Greenville, PA the son of Edward and Winifred Peterson Gambetti.

A 1962 graduate of Greenville High School, Ronald was employed at General Motors Lordstown as a forklift operator for 28 years before retiring in 1995.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Niles, UAW Local 1112, VFW #2704 and enjoyed camping, the ocean, classic cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Carolyn Rush Gambetti whom he married November 30, 1963, two daughters, Lisa Gambetti Ciriello of Niles and Gina Gambetti Mahramas and her husband George of Howland, a brother Richard Peterson and his wife Barbara of Texas, a sister Marsha Custer and her husband Rodger of Greenville, PA and four grandchildren, Brandon and Hunter Ciriello and George Jr. and Sophia Mahramas.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother James Owens.

Friends may call 4-6pm Sunday March 11th at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services will be held privately at a later date.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery
