Rose C. Bergana, 91. of Niles died at 3:40PM January 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

She was born May 18, 1921 in Warren the daughter of Leonard and Mary Ravella Simeone.

Rose was a 1940 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a homemaker, member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, Mount Carmel School and festival volunteer, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her husband Gene A. Bergana whom she married November 18, 1950 died January 8 1984.

She will be deeply missed by four sons, Gene N. Bergana, with whom she made her home, David Bergana and his wife Patti of Niles, Leonard Bergana of Niles, and Charles Bergana and his wife Marti of Columbus, two brothers, Guy Simeone and his wife Theida of Niles, Anthony Simeone and his wife Ruth of Toney, Alabama and a sister Carmel Perrico of Youngstown, six grandchildren, D.J. Bergana and his wife Shannon, Shelly Miller and her husband Kevin, Jessica Bergana, Jason Bergana, Brandon Bergana, and Austin Bergana, four great-grandchildren, Matteo Bergana, Sienna Miller, Paxton Miller, Rowen Miller, and a sister-in-law Ann Simone.

She is preceded in death by a brother Nick Simeone.

Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 10AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services will be held 10AM Saturday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating,

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
