Rose R. Infante, 97, of Chardon, formerly of Niles, passed away on Saturday October 8, at Heather Hill Care Community in Chardon. She was born July 1, 1925 in Youngstown the daughter of Vincent and Clotida Fiore Baiocco. Rose was a homemaker, member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Blessed Mother Society, and festival volunteer. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. Her husband George C. Infante whom she married September 14, 1946 died January 22, 2005. She will be deeply missed by a son George A. Infante and his wife Sarah of North Ridgeville, Ohio, two grandchildren Amy Szabo and her husband Paul and Amanda Shindley and her husband Gregg, and three great-grandchildren, Griffin, Gabriella, and Gillian Schindley. She was preceded in death by a brother Vincent Baiocco and two sisters, Grace Kovic and Mary Baiocco. There are no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
