Rose A. Zubyk ,92, of Niles, passed away on Monday August 15, 2022 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1930 in Warren the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ricciulli Rich. Rose was a 1948 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a beauty school graduate. She was employed at Sears Department Store as a sales clerk for 24 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, and listening to polka music. Her husband John C. Zubyk whom she married October 4, 1952 died March 20, 2011. She will be sadly missed by her son Alan Zubyk and his fiancée Natalie Russo of Niles, and two grandsons Alan J. Zubyk and Ashton Russo. She was preceded in death by a son John C. Zubyk II, a brother Arthur Rich and a sister Julia Rich. Friends may call Thursday from 9AM to 10AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 10AM prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
