Roxanne Vintila-Brounce, née DeFabio, affectionately known as “Rox”, gained her wings entering heaven on January 28, 2026—flying through the realm of dreams.

She was born December 12, 1958, to Rocco “Rocky” and Angelina “Angie” DeFabio of Niles, OH.

“Rox” was truly one in a million.

Her fiery spirit made her unforgettable. Her smile lit up every room she entered. Her laugh was contagious. She was kind to everyone she met. She was known for giving her last to someone who needed it more. She never said no to fun and embraced life fully. A true child of her time. She loved music, art, crafts, puzzles, and had a special talent for drawing and painting. But above all she loved her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Adrienne Vintila-Losik (Patrick) of Phoenix, Arizona; Amanda Vintila-Cole (Larry) of Warren; and her stepson, Michael Chambers (Theresa) of Leavittsburg. She adored her grandchildren, Aaliyah and Daunte Cole, both of Warren, and was especially proud of her newest joy, her great-grandson A’Mirion Cole.

She also leaves behind sisters, Rebecca Lang of Indiana and Debbie Bindas of Niles, along with her beloved nieces, Heather Ann and Jennifer, nephew Christopher, ,and many friends.

Welcoming her home are her husband, Richard Brounce; her parents; and her nephew, Jeffrey Lang.

She's off on another adventure. Until we meet again, we’ll keep you alive in name and memory here

The family would like to Thank Sanctuary Hospice, especially Adam and Chaplin Ron.

Friends may call Monday February 9, 2026 from 5:00pm until the time of the 7:00pm funeral service at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery
