Ruth B. Datchuk, 90,of Wadsworth formerly of McDonald died at 2:45AM Monday, March 7, 2011 at Hospice Care Center in Akron, with her son Robert at her side.

She was born October 24, 1920 in Washington, Pennsylvania the daughter of Arthur and Alta Poland Drummond.

She was a 1938 graduate of Washington High School and was employed at General Electric, Benada Aluminum, Fairway Department Store, Packard Electric, and General Motors Lordstown.

Ruth always enjoyed learning, traveling, and had a love of cars.

Her husband Peter Datchuk whom she married July 27, 1946, died September 8, 2007.

Ruth, who always said to her children that she drove the North, East , West, and South. will be deeply missed by her three sons, Richard Datchuk of Columbus, Robert Datchuk and his wife Azeneth of Wadsworth, and Donald Datchuk and his wife Marjorie of Austintown, eight grandchildren, Darren, Ryan, Jennifer, Shawn, Clint, Christopher, Amy, and Mathew, and two great-grandchildren, Zoie and Sadie.

There are no calling hours. Private services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
