Ruth M. Villio Leedy, 81 of Niles died Wednesday February 20, 2013 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Home in Niles surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 1, 1931 in Niles the daughter of James and Raffaela Bottigliero Villio.

Ruth was employed for 3 years at Niles Laundry and as a cook for 5 years at Cicero's Market. She was a member of Niles Christian Assembly and enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and cooking.

She will be deeply missed by three sons Dennis Leedy of Niles, Eugene Leedy Jr. and his wife Amanda of Newton Falls, Keith Leedy Sr. and his wife Irene of Howland, four daughters, Martha DeJerolme and her husband Dominic of Niles, Joyce Lewis and her husband Chalmer of Niles, Karen Smith and her husband James of Niles, and Becky Newbrough and her husband James Jr., with whom she made her home, a sister Becky Shaffer of Girard, 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her former husband Eugene Leedy Sr., two brothers Lawrence and Daniel Villio, three sisters, Mary Brown, Ann Williams, and Grace Shelley and a great-great grandson.

Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and from 10 to 11AM Saturday at The Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 3101 DeForest Road, SE., Warren, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday at The Apostolic Pentecostal Church with Pastors Douglas Brown and John Mizgerd officiating.

Bruial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
