Sadie E. Ivanchak, 84, of Niles died Wednesday March 21, 2012 at Liberty Health Care Center.

She was born July 25, 1927 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio the daughter of William and Esther Jones Seifert.

Sadie was a 1944 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, attended Youngstown State University, was employed as a payroll clerk at Grennell Manufacturing during World War II, and a homemaker.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge, over 50 year member of Rebecca Lodge, enjoyed golfing, traveling all over the world, cooking, and baking.

Her husband Attorney Theodore T. "Ted" Ivanchak whom she married August 4, 1951 died May 20, 2002.

She will be deeply missed by a son Judge Terry Ivanchak , a daughter Trace` Rashid (Michael) of Midland, Michigan, a daughter-in-law Judith Ivanchak of Lexington, Kentucky, and five grandchildren, Brandon Ivanchak, Nicole Ivanchak, Kori Ivanchak, Kaycee Rashid, and Tara Rashid.

She is preceded in death by a son, Dr. Theodore Ivanchak, a daughter Tami Ivanchak, three brothers, Glenn Seifert, Edward Seifert, and William "Bud" Seifert, and three sistes, Ruth Hallas, Leona Parsons, and Barbara Hollowell.

Private family services will be held 11:00AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge.

Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
