Sara Jane Green Wagner, 88, of Salisbury, North Carolina, formerly of Niles, died Thursday October 4, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina.

She was born January 20, 1924 in Girard, Ohio the daughter of William and Sarah Leetch Green.

Sara was a 1942 Girard High School graduate, employed as a secretary at U.S. Steel McDonald Works, a member of Assembly of God Church in Niles and McDonald Baptist Church, enjoyed crochet, ceramics, and flower gardening.

Her husband Enoch Evinsky whom she married in 1945 passed away March 3, 1949

Her husband Earl Wagner whom she married 1950 passed away in 1983.

She will be deeply missed by two sons Michael Evinsky of Lavonia, Georgia and Earl J. Wagner Sr. and his wife Sherry of Niles, two daughters, Emma Goff and her husband Charles of Salisbury, North Carolina, and Rebecca Husk of Niles, a brother Harry Joseph Schaffer and his wife Marie of Rotunda, Florida, 11 grandchildren, Enoch Evinsky III, Michael Earl Evinsky, Sarah Evinsky, Earl Joseph Wagner, Anntoinette Evinsky, Jeffrey Allen Husk, Richelle Wheatcroft, Chrystal Ciarniello, R. Shane Wheatcroft, Mandie Turner, and Charles D.L. Goff, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons Anthony Evinsky and Enoch Evinsky II, two infant children, and a grandson Jason Husk.

Friends may call Tuesday from 11AM to 1PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services will be held 1PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Michael Setzer officiating.

Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
