Stanley M. Maiorana, 61, of Norridge, Illinois, formerly of Girard, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at his residence.

He was born February 2, 1954 in Youngstown the son of Charles and Veronica Nizlik Maiorana.

He was a 1972 graduate of Girard High School, employed as a shipping manager at Spectra International in Chicago for 16 years, avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and collected stuffed and ceramic penguins.

He will be deeply missed by a sister Dolores "Dee" Augustine and her husband Anthony of Girard, his nieces and nephews, Anthony M. Augustine and his wife Chris, Debbie Zachary and her husband John, Kerri Augustine, and Launi Maiorana, and several great- nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Maiorana and Lawrence Maiorana.

Private memorial services were held.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
