Teresa Sidoti, 74, of Niles, passed away at 9:49PM Saturday October 9, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Joseph's Warren Hospital. She was born November 23, 1946 in Marina di Gioiosa Jonica Calabria, Italy the daughter of Francesco and Pasqualina Napoli Femia and came to America on February 20, 1971. Teresa was a homemaker, member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Sons of Italy in Austintown, enjoyed walking, dancing, playing cards and bocce. She also loved listening to Italian Music, gardening, cooking, especially greens, spending time with her family, and dining out at Giorgio's Restaurant on Fridays for fish. She will be deeply missed by her husband Filippo Sidoti whom she married November 20, 1971, three daughters, Marisa Schafrath and her husband Frank of Howland, Lori Agati and her husband Joseph of Lordstown, and Joanna Ross and her husband Mike of Parma Heights, a brother Salvatore Femia and his wife Maria of Marina di Gioiosa Jonica Calabria, Italy, a sister Nunziata Mezzaferro of Marina di Gioiosa Jonica Calabria, Italy, and three grandchildren, Alicia, Joseph, and Angela Agati. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Femia and Rocco Femia. Friends may call Thursday from 9 to 10:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 10:30AM prayer service at the funeral home. Facial coverings are recommended for all family and friends coming to pay their respects at the funeral Home and at the church. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
