Thomas P. "TK" Kress, 78, of Niles died at 10:00PM Thursday March 9, 2017 at his residence.

He was born March 11, 1938 in Wheeling, West Virginia the son of Paul Peter and Carrie Kurtz Kress.

He was a 1956 graduate of Aurora High School and attended Boheckers Business School. TK was a volunteer fireman in Newton Falls,  employed at General Motors, and also worked as a truck driver for several companies for over 30 years retiring in 2010. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Niles, Niles Scope, enjoyed NASCAR, avid Cleveland Indians fan, spending time with his family, and taking his family out to eat.

Thomas, who never met a stranger, will be deeply missed by a son, Thomas Kress Jr. (Stacy Paridon) of Niles, two daughters, Debrah Bowell and her husband Rocco of Niles, and Pamela O' Brien of Girard, three sisters, Patricia Carrier and her husband Richard of Bay Village, Ohio, Joan Watson of Champion, and Paula Dunford of Canada, five grandchildren, Jason Dye and his wife Cathy, Amanda Chandler and her husband Keith, Joe O' Brien and his wife Crystal, Abby O'Brien-Noon and her husband Patrick, and Brady Kress, and nine great-grandchildren, Gianna, Jaren, Jaxon, Gabriella, Jason, Brock, Isabella, Jordyn, and Ashley.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lee W. Kress, and a sister Carol Kazimer.

Friends may call Tuesday from 11:30AM  up until the 1PM funeral service at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Burial will be in Newton Township Cemetery.
