Thomas A. Wertz, 59, died at 5am Sunday December 7th at his residence in Warren.

He was born November 12, 1955 in Martinsburg, Pa the son of Richard and Virginia Kephart Wertz.

Tom was a 1974 graduate of Altoona High School, employed in maintenance for the Altoona housing authority for 20 years and was of Baptist faith.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Margaret Plummer Wertz, whom he married December 4, 1978, son Richard Curtis Wertz of McDonald, brother Richard David Wertz of New Jersey, sister Judy Swank of Williamsburg PA and several grandchildren.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and brother Stephen Wertz.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
