Tommaso "Tommy" Bruno, 82, of Niles died at 7:37AM Sunday August 24, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Warren.

He was born March 16, 1932 in Barrea, Italy the son of Domenico and Lucrezia Musilli Bruno.

Tommaso was employed for 33 years as a millwright at LTV Republic Steel retiring in 1995, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and a member of The Italian Army.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Pia DiCola Bruno whom he married June 2, 1956, a son Joseph Bruno and his wife Heather of Niles, a daughter Lucrezia Emery and her husband Ronald of Niles, a sister Maria Cera and her husband Livio of Barrea, Italy, and four grandchildren, Ryan Emery and his wife Michelle, Carly Emery, Gabriella Bruno, and Sophia Bruno.

He was preceded in death by a brother Angelo Bruno.

Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:45PM Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, with Father Fred Trucksis officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
