Virginia Simor, 87, of Parma Heights, Ohio, and formerly of Niles, died at 3:38 AM Sunday September 28, 2014 at Season of Life Hospice in Parma, Ohio.

She was born June 19, 1927 in Smock, Pennsylvania the daughter of Nazzarino and Mary Segetti Spalvieri.

Virginia was a 1946 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed in retail, and a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Cleveland.

She will be deeply missed by a son William Simor of Parma Heights, Ohio, a daughter Sharon Ann Simor of Parma Heights, two brothers, Gino Spalvieri and his wife Shirley of Oklahoma and Anthony Spalvieri and his wife Frances of Niles, a sister Alvina Callihan and her husband George of Liberty, Ohio, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alexander Simor and two sisters Ellen Waite and Ruth Cost.

Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Services of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Fr. Fred Trucksis officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
