Wilbur R. " Woody" Carrell, 79, of Youngstown, passed away on Thursday October 31, 2024 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born December 22, 1944 in Youngstown the son of Janet Johnson Carrell and Russell Carrell Woody was a 1962 graduate of Youngstown South High School and was employed at Republic Works in Cleveland and Youngstown Steel Door. He retired from Youngstown Bending, formerly YSD, after 51 years. He was a member of The American Tri-5 Association and The Good Guys. He enjoyed cars, car shows, making people laugh, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Kimberly Carrell, son-in-law Tom Gilman, granddaughter, Kate Gilman, his extended family, Dana Srbinovich Sr, and his wife Dawn, Dana Srbinovich Jr, and his wife Stephanie, and Dani Srbinovich, all whom he loved dearly, and his pride and joy ; his 1955 Chevy, Alice. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call Wednesday November 20, 2024 from 4 to 6PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. A buffet dinner will be held immediately after at Giorgio's Restaurant.
