Yolanda C. Masciangelo, 96, of Austintown, died at 8:00PM Monday June 23, 2014 at Briarfield at Ashley Circle.

She was born February 10, 1918 in Warren the daughter of Dominic and Amelia Amolia Veri.

She was employed as a custodian for The Niles City School System for 10 years, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Parish in Niles, enjoyed spending time with family and watching TV.

Her husband Patrick Masciangelo whom she married November 26, 1938 died December 3, 1983.

She will be deeply missed by two sons Nicholas Masciangelo and his wife Lil of Niles and Ronald Masciangelo and his wife Beth of Niles, a daughter Diane Wilson and her husband Wilbur of North Jackson, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, Tom Masciangelo and his wife Diane, Lori Martin and her husband Rich, Aimee' Tiernan and her husband Scott, David Masciangelo and his wife Monika, Aaron Masciangelo, Philip Masciangelo and his wife Kenya, Sarah Wilson, Ruth Wilson, Rachael, Markwell and her husband Rob, and Wilbur P. Wilson, and 4 great-grandchildren. Patrick Nicholas Masciangelo, Carolyn Marie Masciangelo, Alex Masciangelo, and Dominic Sebastian Masciangelo

She was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Richard J. Masciangelo C.PP.S., and three brothers, Carmelo Veri, William Veri, and Nicholas Veri.

Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Father Thomas Kraszewski officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.

Arrangements are being held by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
